Interview with Wayne Young Jr., born at Randolph near Bandon, Or., April 8, 1936. Wayne is the son of Wayne B. and Mary Melissa (Lancaster) Young, and husband of Carole Kay (Nelson) Young. The son of educators, Wayne tells stories his family's careers in Coos County schools; the area of Millington during the heyday of Coos County logging; and community effort in building the athletic field at Millicoma School in the Eastside district of Coos Bay
